Los Angeles Career Fair November 19: Free Sales and Professional Interviews at the Hilton LAX
LOS ANGELES, CA — One of the last professional career fairs of the fall in Los Angeles lands Thursday, November 19, at the Hilton by LAX on Century Boulevard. It runs two hours, it costs job seekers nothing, and it is built around sit-down interviews for sales, customer relations, technology and professional roles. Entry-level candidates and new college grads are explicitly on the guest list.
Five weeks out is the right time to get ready for this one. Two hours, one hotel ballroom, and recruiters who expect you to show up dressed and prepared to interview on the spot.

🔥 Who They're Recruiting
The fair is run by Diversity Career Group, which held its September 24 Los Angeles fair at the same hotel and comes back for a second fall date. The organizer's event page names sales, customer relations, technology solutions and professional positions as the focus, with IT, retail and customer service roles mentioned as well.
If you have spent a few years in retail, a restaurant or a call center and want a salaried sales or account path, this is the kind of room where that move gets made.
One honest caveat: no employer list has been published. Come to interview with whoever came to hire, not to meet one target employer.
⚠️ Read This Before You Go
Recruiters sit down and interview here, and the organizer is specific about what it expects.
- Professional dress is required. A suit or a sharp business outfit. Not scrubs, not a hoodie, not a work polo.
- Bring a stack of resumes. The organizer's page asks for at least 12 copies in one spot and 15 or more in another. Print 15 and stop worrying about it.
- Print your ticket. Registered candidates are asked to bring the printed ticket for first entry. Walk-up registration is available, but the line moves slower.
- It is only two hours. Arriving at 1:00 PM leaves you half an hour. Plan to be there when the doors open at 11:30.
Register free through the official ticket page.
📋 How to Show Up Ready
Treat every table as a first-round interview, because that is what it is. Have a 30-second introduction that ends with the job you want. Bring one example of a number you moved: sales closed, tickets resolved, customers kept.
Getting there takes thought. Century Boulevard between the 405 and the airport is some of the slowest pavement in the county around midday. Leave earlier than the map tells you, and follow up with every recruiter you meet within 48 hours.
📅 Other Fairs Before November 19
Different events, different crowds, different rules. If you need work sooner, three free LA County fairs land first: Job Fest at Stonewood Center in Downey on October 22, the regional career fair in Irwindale on October 23 and the Holiday Hiring Spree in Palmdale on October 29, covered in our Antelope Valley job fairs guide. The same organizer also lists a San Fernando Valley edition for December 10.
